Trim off the green tops and store carrots in a zipper top bag in the refrigerator for up to 1 month
How to Use It
Raw: eat with a dip, slice for salads, grate in coleslaw, or make quick pickles
Boil or steam: boil or steam chopped carrots until tender
Blanch: boil chopped carrots for about 3 minutes, then place in ice water to cool quickly. Drain well, pat dry, and freeze for longer storage.
Roast: roast chopped or whole carrots in the oven at 400°F for 25-30 minutes
