1 pound (whole) = about 8 servings raw or 5 servings cooked

5 pounds (whole) = about 40 servings raw or 25 servings cooked

Store green beans in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Blanch and freeze for longer storage.


How to Use It

Raw: eat with a dip or slice for salads and slaws

Blanch: boil green beans for about 3 minutes, then place in ice water to cool quickly. Drain well, pat dry, and freeze for longer storage.

Boil or steam: boil or steam green beans until tender

Stir-fry: cook over high heat with oil and garlic

Make: summer salads with blanched green beans, tomatoes, and corn
